**My configuration files for various programs.**

## Installing
To link the files to the correct places run
After using a more-or-less broken script for many years I finally decided to use [GNU/Stow](https://www.gnu.org/software/stow/) instead. A small wrapper script around it helps me now to deploy the files I need.
```
./install.fish
./stow.sh
```
Make sure you have [fish](https://fishshell.com) installed.
## How it works
The script takes the directories in `dirs.list` and creats them (if they don't
exist). After that it runs over `links.list` and takes the first path as source
(appending ~/dotfiles) and the path after the space as the target (appending
only `~/`).
Additionally to this repositories I keep two other around---one for work and one for personal machines---that contain more sensitive information and are therefore not publicly available.
